Homebuyer Survey
A Homebuyer Survey, or intermediate survey as it is sometimes known, involves a more detailed inspection of a property focusing on the main elements of the building including inspection of the roof space and any urgent or significant matters which require more immediate attention or which may have a significant detrimental affect on value. It will not however deal with repairs or defects of a minor nature. The Homebuyer Survey is most suitable for properties of conventional design and construction and which are in a reasonable overall condition with the report being in a standard format. It is not usually suitable for properties which are in need of extensive renovation, period properties or those of non traditional design or construction.
Building Survey
A Building Survey is a comprehensive inspection which will be reported in a style to suit the property and can incorporate specific client requirements. It is suitable for all types of property including listed buildings, older properties, and buildings which have been constructed in an unusual manner.
